really ke bro?? ya..i've heard bout the Ford Extended Warranty but i'm not sure whether it will last until next year because it's
now almost December and the Ford SA said it's not wise to buy new car at present.he said just book for it 1st since the waiting
period is almost 2-3months.

now i'm so surprised to know that we only need to do next service after every 10k mileage??that's awesome!! what about the
maintenance fees?who knows the if Extended Service plan only lasts till end of this year.

Yes that right, but then maybe if u nego with ur SA, see they can secure the ESP or not, but think the ESP will extend for next year too..( hope so) for normal service think is around RM250-300, they advice only full syn engine oil as if u want change oil every 10K, but then the price is reasonable.

But for sure if u get this car, u will enjoy so much on this hot hatch smile_big.gif

The expensive parts came from the Service Center, even H Or T. What H & T gained is the parts outside the Service Center. You can always get much more cheaper H & T parts outside. This is due to the high volume of H & T cars in the market.
For Ford Fiesta, you will have the same situation, cause market will be floaded with Fiesta soon....
so business man will start bring in the fiesta parts, which is cheaper than the SC.

For " Original" parts, any car brand it won't be cheap, why SC charge higher then outside is because they do give warranty on the parts, it is so call u buy a insurance with them, but for after market, i'm sure it will be cheaper alot. but it there cheaper then Korean car?? i have no idea. but for sure Fiesta u hardly can find a fake original parts, not like T n H brand. just my 2cents

I think they will have to continue with the ESP, maybe make it even more attractive like 3yrs unlimited mileage lol... Otherwise how to sell Ford cars? Even Kia is now offering 5yrs unlimited mileage, same with VW. For many ppl, 60k mileage can be easily passed within 2yrs. What century is Auto Connexion living in? Anyhow, most major servicing comes after 80k km like timing belt (Focus TDCi) etc., so for the 1st 60k km you're probably looking at things like engine oil, spark plugs, ATF etc. Big deal.

Another reason to keep the ESP or make it longer is so that owners will continue to service their cars at Ford centres during the warranty duration rather than doing it outside at Ah Kow Bawah Pokok Sendiri Terhad lol...

The only reason to scrap ESP is if Ford cars have a high failure rate and is costly to maintain. An extended warranty, to me, means that the manufacturer is confident that their cars are "Built Tough" and will last as long as the warranty given with no major costly repairs smile.gif I will have more confidence in that brand compared to a lousy 3yr 60k km bollocks warranty lol...

Consumers should all demand that every manufacturer gives 5yrs unlimited mileage warranty smile.gif
There are no lousy cars. Only better cars.

If TS is into modding his wheels, be aware that PCD for Fiesta is 4x108. Normal Jap wheels won't fit, so you won't be able to run those ultralite Volk or SSR wheels cool.gif all the T&H are sporting. Kekekeke biggrin.gif
