Hi lowpro,
Yea, is been sometime. Still looking for opportunity.
How is the Group doing?
i've been considering a 9-3 aero. considering only lah. these days you could pick them up for a pretty price. about 70k - 80k only. 210hp and 300nm of torque are pretty decent figures
couple to that, an acceleration of about 7.7 seconds to the ton and a top whack of about 235kph (when new) make it pretty quick. not the fastest on the block though but still able to keep in view of the latest turbo offerings.
by the way, which group were you talking about?

nolah, to be fair to the seller, i know the owner of the car and well, let's just say, i'm in a better position to just buy and drive... and nothing else.

Ur employer
happens to be driven by a director of the company before... so i could easily find out why i should perhaps look at another unit
that being said, my other ex-colleagues and perhaps even myself feel that the last incarnation of the 9-5 aero that we got here was a bit better overall than the 9-3. the steering was heavier with better feel and the higher weight of the car helped keep it stable at high speeds. but the 9-3 aero was the car to have if one were to consider going for a little street racing. by the way, the 9-5 used the last saab enginered engine while the 9-3 used what was essentially a gm engine that was turbocharged by saab.
ah, my employer
well, we have our hands full at the moment. a few new models coming up this year and more next year and to couple with that, the need to maintain constant publicity but with a low stock issue. striking a balance in these times isn't easy. overall, it is looking pretty decent

the car is a bit of an underdog in the market. mostly under the radar of car buyers most of the time. for those who discover it, it should be a pretty good buy if they are able to find a good mechanic to maintain it.

Agree...
Similarly, I also get to know the mechanic then only I dare to purchase
