why 2 rear seat belts? this is so weird. was told by the sales person that it is a confirmed 5 seater but the 5th person wears no belt? ironic and could be a deterrent to bigger sales potential. sometimes these items may appear trivial to car companies but they matter much to the buyers. quite sure that this is not a decision made by suzuki malaysia though.

darrel,

the rear windows are not fixed like the uk and india models. they can be wound down... unfortunately, manually. agree with the looks though. nice. and i particularly like the tacked on tachometer! some say it looks like an afterthought but it looks more like a design element to me. struggled through the miserable jam last night to get to the taman connaught showroom to view it.

Nice colors and attractive design. At 50k for the auto, the price is close to the Myvi 1.3a.

Hi retro,
Manual rear window? Not that bad then, at least still can be wound down. The rear is designed for 2 passengers to sit in comfortably. Well, better than the over-ambitious alza smile_sleepy.gif

Love the sticking-out tacho, reminds me of the fiat 500C abarth smile_big.gif
Will check out the car after work at showroom in kajang prima

The salesman was pulling your leg. The boss of Suzuki Malaysia himself told us in a press conference that the Alto is marketed as a 4-seater.

... and we were giving Suzuki hell over this during the press conference.
