Sorry to dig up an old thread but its only this particular RJ series that has attracted high bids, namely from Johor. I heard its because of RJ standing for Royal Johor but who knows really. What I do know is that my RJ plate is triple the cost I've paid for the exact same numbers from previous series (ie: RA, RD, RG, etc). Previous Perlis plates that attracted many outside bids was the RF series which I think has something to do with police ID or something along those lines.
