actually i long stop the bad habbits of smoking cigarette and smoking other drivers smile_big.gif
but it is really annoying to see a soup-up myvi stinging at ur butt so close that you can see the moron young driver face from the rear view mirror.... it was not that i am hogging, i was overtaking at 130km/hr and there's a car in front of me.... if i was driving my wajunk... i will just hit the brake, K-N-N, suka cucuk belakang...but new forte sayang lar... wub.gif

one thing i like the 1.6 Forte is, if rpm is > 3K i can easily hit 110 to 160km/hr easily and pretty fast, no need to downshift to 3rd gear....to reach 180km/hr will take longer time coz wind resistance too strong and almost out of breath smile_tongue.gif .... so far i hit 190km/hr driving early morning when the air is still cool and denser with O2, with the assist of shiftronic....not bad for a 1.6 automatic 4 gears car

bro... smile_thumbup.gif smile_thumbup.gif

normally i will smoke them also... sibeh tu_lan see their LCLY pattern... i curious how they can drive myvi till 150km/h++... i drive myvi around 120km/h, its alr remind me :"I believe I can FLY !!! I Believe I can touch the sky!!!" 059.gif 059.gif

hihi .... forte 190km/h, not bad woh...

hi

what is the current market price for forte 2010?i just doing the survey because they say forte market price are bad...so i just open a new topic just to be inform of current market price....

T, H & N marketing & sales & used car dealers kept spreading Korean cars low resale value, high maintenance, high FC & expensive spare parts so the chain reaction to public perception is low resale value. T, H & N wanted to stop Korean invasion so they spread this lies while used car dealers wanted to get low trade in price so they will spread this lies too.

However, local mentality follow Singaland and Singaland's mentality follow modern developed countries such as USA & EU. Now USA & EU kept giving thumbs up to Hyundai/Kia so Singaland's mentality will follow and later local mentality. This is how it works like back then the Japs cars in 1970's, BMW in mid 90's and Audi/Volkswagen in 2003.

Just 1 thing, T, H & N kept spreading that Hyundai/Kia poor FC and high maintenance but would not even dare to go head on in daring competition to challenge Hyundai/Kia (theta & gamma engines onwards) in :
- city traffic FC with just 2Litre in tank (see who run out of fuel 1st)
- handling
- acceleration
- service/maintenance/repair records.

Try to pit Civic 2.0 vs Forte 2.0 vs Sylphy 2.0 in bumper to bumper crawl with only 2L of fuel in real heavy city traffic and see. This is more true, fair & accurate way to play lightfoot contest. Who will win?

Even the 2.0L Tucson with dual CVVT can challenge Camry in FC duel.

i just dont give a damm about resale value anymore this days...forte got all what i want.1st its a comfortable car for a fat person like me.no cramp here and there.about the high FC, i really dont feel very much cause currently forte is not my 1st ride.my 1st and offical ride is Yamaha LC 135!.i only use the car when its really nesasary.for instance, i bought my car on febuari now its in the mid may, my milage is not reach 5K yet!still very low milage.i just want to survey the current market price for this car for the time being.

guys, please drive safely always, you can go fast ocassionally but make sure you are 100% alert and focus
i am not trying to boast how fast forte can go but rather sharing with other vios, city and myvi young-blood owners not to always like to challenge with forte when you see one on the road...coz you will never know which one is the 2.0L with 156hp, the rear is badged 'SX' same like the 1.6...nofear bro can testify its performance smile_cool.gif

Yes,I like this.good one ! " got all what i want." that should be the way to go for car buyers. when u look to many things... fc, brand lar.. etc.. u never walk out from the well and change.
