I read that the Fiesta would be launched sometime this year. May I know when will the new Ford Fiesta be launched?

Secondly, any thoughts whether the new Ford Fiesta will drive like the Ford Focus? ie. similar handling and steering feel as the Ford Focus? Will the NVH of the Fiesta comparable to the Focus? I have read a review in that the new Fiesta doesn't give up all the features in the higher models although the car may be smaller in size.

Any other information on the powerplant of the Fiesta whether it would be a 1.5 or 1.6-litre engine, 4 or 5-speed automatic transmission?

Any information would be most useful.

Yes, the rear looks little awkward. I find this to be synonymous with most smaller cars in this segment such as Vios, City, the new Mazda2 sedan, new Peugeot T33 sedan etc. The City's rear looks the best out of the lot followed by this new Fiesta. The rear of the other cars inclusive of the new Mazda2, Peugeot T33 and Vios look worse in comparison IMO. Not interested in the hatch as I am a sedan guy.

the rear end of the sedan looks outdated, remind me of the telstar in the 90s.

If looking at this angle the rear still doesn't look too bad. The other two pictures were shot at odd angles thus making the rear looked more awful in comparison.

In comparison to the Mazda 2 sedan's rear the Fiesta sedan's rear looks better to me. The Mazda 2 sedan looks little out of proportion from the picture. The Peugeot T33 fared the worst. Anyway looks are subjective as one man's meat is another man's poison.
