Guys,

Thanks for your feedback. From my understanding, it appears the options (on the 17" rims) are:
1. Get a Forte 2.0 instead - unfortunately, above my budget.
2. Get a Forte 1.6 SX and
a) use the 17" till its run its life and then switch to 16" rims later
cool.gif change the 17" upon purchase of the car but DIY (can anyone confirm warranties not an issue?)
c) stick with 17" regardless
3. Get a Forte 1.6 EX with existing 15" rims but lose out on some goodies

Well, thanks for your help guys. I'll probably take the SX on a few more test runs and see how it does with its 17" rims before I decide anything. One more thing, do you know if its true that the demo/test-drive units tyres are actually all over inflated (330 instead of 230)? Cause if thats the case than I'll probably be able to live with 17" rims.

for forte mods, you new forte owners should consider the UR bars to reduce body roll and better handling...if warranty is not an issue.

http://www.ultraraci...?...te&pageno=1

i think V4 bro intention is kind...he is letting us know that forte owners now have the option to further improve the "already good handling" character of the car...even FD2 Type R's road handling can be improved sharper....my Spore fren gave positive testimonial of the improvement felt after adding the front strut bar and rear ARB...hope the price here not that expensive....so far stock car still felt planted at 160km/hr.....thanks V4 bro smile_thumbup.gif

bro u itching for a holiday fight ka? why so protective of UR bars??????
anyway hard core mod doesn't mean u put everything under the sun into the car rite?
the reason i took EX model so i have room for mods la..... just bars are not priority.
i am identifying which areas on the forte that needs upgrades will post on forum once its done.

by the way the 1.6 is using cable throttle not drive by wire. which explains why the feel is much better than detached and response better.
