my swift..
swift never let me down. i have my own perception on how i am gonna hold the steering. no need to fire up the power or accelerate to max torque f the result s you will have the summons!. swift so far OK since the AC bearing was replaced with new 1. Majority, people in whatever forum they talk, when talk about swift, most of them will say swift s fun to drive, lady's car, very compact and whatever. very fun?, yes. i feel it everyday. all the way either rural, urban, terrain as long as the surface of road s good, the perfection of fun s there. swift never disappoint me. i knew it because i have this kind of road physical condition to go from home to work. lady's car?no way, those people dunno what swift s design for. swift i think designed for its own class. either people can see it as almost competitor for mini or better car than myV. Compact? most of my friend said that before i invite them to have some ride with me. after that, they surprised how spacious to b in it. swift looks so small from outside but it s actually not, i used to say don't judge the book by its cover. they asking me y swift?i think the answer s i have no passion to vios design, not ready for d-max and keep questioning quality of proton..after all, the design s my 1st criteria!. almost 2 years driving swift. Don't have any intention to get others yet!.

Hi, all Swift sifus,

Wife just got her Black Swift Premium end of last month, until now everything is ok...she (also me) enjoy driving the Swift. Yesterday drove back to wife home town in Perlis from Penang, she was driving all the way...ha ha she enjoyed driving the car and dont want me to take over half way as what normally we did with her previous Myvi SE.
One thing i am quite curious is the rear suspension is a bit on the soft side....is it normal? currently i pumped air to the rear tyres at 33psi (same as front) to compensate the softness feeling, according to the standard without passengers the rear tyres should be at 31psi or maybe i am use to my ride Civic FD with quite hard suspension set up plus 17" wheels.

the 1.5CKD suspensions are more towards comfort...some even complained it being 'springy' when going thru bumps...however this car is felt stable even while cruising 140km/hr....since the car is new you can consider by adding those spring coil rubber bracing/stiffen products which are selling below RM200...you will experience less bounciness and after the warranty period you can chuck them off and upgrade for better coils such as eibach which is proven to work well even with ori dampers.

another factor is the ori Bridgstone tyres (RE080) with thread wear rating of 140, which could only mean that its compound is soft, hence offering comfortable ride and relatively good grip but it wears off fast

Thanks bro, will try to search for the rubber bracing...thinking of changing to 16" wheel and 195/50/16 tyres when the RE080 near to 50% wear off.
