Dear Jamie,

Glad that u like the results and a special thank to you, Gunners, Hui Leng and AW for allocating some time, space and the power cable for us to create some awareness for car detailing. Not forgetting the Demo car that is bad enough in condition to differentiate the after results. Hope Bro.Gunners will post the before pictures when he is free.

We feel that majority of Malaysia car owners does not wash their car by themselves due to cheap labors and those Bangla’s wash will cause swirls, scratches, water spots and paint oxidation due to worn out/lower grade of washing mitt/cloth, lower grades of shampoo mixtures and without any Sealant/Wax for months of years. It seems to be a norm since most of the car owners do not have the knowledge of performing a proper or less swirl maintenance car wash.

So we would like to take this opportunity to brain storm car owners (especially other members from different forum) to take care of their car by washing their cars or guide their maids into proper washing method to archive less swirl car wash with minimum effort and time. All these are achievable with better wash mitt and drying tower. To those that always send their car to Bangla wash, your personal wash mitt and Drying Towel will helps and you can pay them some extra RM2 to 3 for a quick wipe of your own Spray Wax/Sealant or Quick Detailer to bring back some Shine and protection for their car. IT IS Simple and not complicated.
The other objective is to educate car owners into DIY to bring back some shine’s to their cars with minimum effort by using some quickie products, Bosch ROB with better LC 5.25” pad, AIO Paint Cleaning with Protection. The Makita/Hitachi Rotary machine is only for those that willing to spend more time, effort and investment into car detailing. They can pick Car Wash as their exercise or hobby to reduce weight and cholesterol as well because I am a good example.

Last but not least, Special thanks to team members especially bro.Hitachi and Jackson for all the effort and hard work, VR2 for organizing these down to earth clinic, Bro.SplitFire for helping me to jump start my ride, bro.G88 and Gunners for taking the shots, Our Detailing TT kaki’s for the helping hand, All attendee’s that making our booth busy, the boss from the next booth for moving their LCD’s to avoid any damages.

Thank you and …. Detailing is FUN

cheers.... Duragloss The Wet Look

Jaime J, i would suggest you grab some maintenance product - those WOWA (wipe on walk away - no need buff wan) type to maintain your ride since after all the sifu putted so much effort smile_tongue.gif making ur car like brand new again....

Just to recap some of the basic detailing that we cover..

Less Swirl Car Wash and Quick Shine Method
1. Normal wash for rim with Shampoo and cheaper brush
2. More detail wash for a rim with various brushes and multi purpose cleaner, finish with spray type sealant.
3. 2 bucket car wash with and without Grit Guard. We show several wash mitts and drying towel.
4. Finish with Quickie Spray type wax or sealant

Basic and Intermediate Detailing.

1. Clay
2. AIO (All In One) Polish with ROB or by hand.
3. Top with Spray type Wax or Sealant
4. Apply Liquid based Sealant /wax by hand and ROB
5. Some technique to apply thin layer

Advanced Detailing with Machine compound and polish (30 minutes)
1. How to remove deep swirl, RDS, Scratches, Spider web ..with compounding
2. Polish to remove Compounding marks and LSP ready finishing

The rest are bonus

Replying to bro. whoopee,
Regardless of calling it the 'Best Moderator' or 'Best Effort' or whatnot 'Best' awards, IMHO, undisputedly he's well deserved it, considering the time and effort Bro. Turbo had put into promoting the ENTIRE anniversary event across other forums; creating awareness of it among members; and physically involved in the preparation...and the best part is that I don't think he's asked anything in return (well, not that I know of)!

Perhaps there were probably also other members, whom I'm not aware of them working behind the scenes (since I don't know a lot of members here) and who had also put in similar amount of effort for the same cause.

Thank you, thank you..... smile_thumbup.gif
Even though the effort to input to other topics for our auto detailing project awareness was mine, but the planning and for the physical help, I must say, I got great help from bro. jackson, bro. mubull and bro. hitachi. Could not have done it without their help.
Three cheers and claps for them.... smile_thumbup.gif smile_thumbup.gif smile_thumbup.gif
Thanks also to the other members who came by to help, physical or otherwise, and also giving support.
Last but not least, to bro. g88 for the photos. Remember without him no pics, no post also..... smile_wink.gif

Since you mention "anything in return", I think should ask Jaime for Dinner at least....ha! ha! smile_big.gif
But ask paiseh lah!. Just hope she sees this post...muhahahaha smile_big.gif smile_big.gif smile_big.gif
