I went to Carrefour just now to replace a burnt-out bulb for my porch.

Then I dont know how but when paying time, have the bulb and a Carrefour Microfiber wash mitt priced at RM4.90.

I must have taken it without thinking. I must have thought I need to have the wash mitt because soooo much cheaper than other wash mitts I already have. It is a bit soft and thin. But it is a RM4.90 MF wash mitt that you use like a glove. Like a proper wash mitt. So even if I use it for 2 or 3 washes then it becomes too thin or ragged to be used. I could just chuck it away, or use it to clean the kitchen or some other household uses. To put the purchase in perspective, in fact all of my detailing purchases in perspective, I always think about opportunity cost. With that amount what else can I get. Well, for RM4.90, my McDonald's lunch costs more... and that will turn into sXXt and then flushed away. With this, at least I get to use it a few times, few washes...

Come to think of it, even the bulb is actually for me to be able to see the car body panel without having to invest for the EagleTac flashlight. My porch already have two lights. So those two lights should be sufficient. But no, I want three lights for my porch. It would also have been sufficient and cheaper to get a energy-saver 14W or 18W. But I just had to have the most powerful watt which is 25W. Brightness is like having normal bulb 125W.

This is dangerous.... if I am not careful, all the money in the world also not enough....

And then on the way back it rained. I seriously did think about pulling over and wait for the rain stop. But I resisted this very strong urge to stop. I kept telling myself, my car is not worth that much (financially and emotionally) to have make sacrifices like that. Its as if I am riding a motorbike, afraid of the rain...But then I did just do a four day (4 hour per day) detail on the car. Maybe that could be a reason...

So, I am a detailing-oholic. I wonder what state I'll be in when I own an exotic supercar...

Sorry to crash this thread, but you mentioned Eagletac lights. Any idea where I could take a look at these lights?

no bro... meta is meta... NOT down light. I changed my down light from single 18W to 2X26W but cannot inspect for the door panel since its a down light ..So I asked the wire man install 2 meta highlight. One hang on pillar and another on top ...But was order to dismantle after 1 week ...HEHEHE
