Despite I'm a Proton owner myself, and I like the Exora's look, I still suggest Innova. Test drive both then you'll know why, although price also in great different.
Ram me if you can!

Bro ntc2000,
My usage of this MPV will 3 adults and 1 kid for daily use. For long distance driving will be 5 adults and 1 kid. Not sure the Perodua can fit in or not ? Thanks.

Exora.
- new car
- 1.6 16V DOHC CPS
- FWD, AT or MT
- 125bhp / 93kW
- seating capacity = 7
- price 70-75K
- warranty 2 yrs or 50,000km from proton.
- weight 1,430kg (average)
- power to weight ratio 1kW : 15.4kg
- engine using timing belt, ATF change every 20K

Innova
- new car, not a new model
- 2.0 16V DOHC, VVTI
- RWD, AT or MT
- 140bhp / 100kW
- seating capacity = 8
- price 96-110K
- warranty 3 yrs or 100,000km from UMWT
- weight 1,545kg
- power to weight ratio 1kW : 15kg
- engine using timing chain, ATF change at 80K.

verdict : Innova more spacious. can seat 8 adults. both MPVs have similar power to weight ratios but Proton's 1.6 CPS engine does lack in torque so it will struggle with 7 ppl on board. Innova also has longer warranty coverage. With a lower maintenance cost, it will keep budget in check then.

Innova does not look pretty but the Exora is not smart either.
