Hi Gunner!

The new F/L Triton gets longer cargo bed based on your articles from blog. Does it get deeper as well or no change? Deeper in terms of the height for cargo bed? Cargo bed measurement comes in Length x Width x "Height". Is the new cargobed any closer to Hilux's cargo bed?

Whoah!!! Price up for Triton's larger bed? 2.5(A) - RM94,576.00

According to the Mitsu ppl I spoke to and also the press release, the cargo bed has been made longer, deeper and its surface flatter.

The measurements on the catalog states the cargo bed measurement to be 1,505mm x 1,470mm x 460mm.

It’s the season of facelifts, it seems, as today we get yet another updated model – the latest version of the Mitsubishi Triton, the best-selling model in the Mitsubishi range in Malaysia. From the time it was launched, the Triton has seen rapid increases in sales volumes to hold its position as the second most popular pick-up in Malaysia.

Hi Gunner!

Thanks for the great info. Good thing about the facelift Triton is the larger cargo compartment to store bigger stuffs. Hehe.. Can go for Triton rather than Hilux for the comparable size cargo bed. Bad thing is the price up RM4k smile_shock.gif

Your Triton emzine is greatly done!! More effort placed on it. Good Job Gunner!! You shoot very well this time. The hot model seems to love your camera shot a lot. Very very good!!! I give u 10/10. Nice shot on the engine.

Currently, the Hilux still leads the market. Let's see how the Triton fares with a new face.

Thanks for the feedback, bro. Though I'd hold back on the 10/10 rating first (unless the model influenced your rating? smile_tongue.gif)

The launch was held at Desa ParkCity, for which I was quite excited as I know for a fact that it's a beautiful place. However, due to logistical issues, the Tritons were all parked in the compound of the club house.

This time, with the photos, I played it safe and used the flash. Whereas with the Lancer and Grandis launch, I tried to capture the cars in its ambient lighting.

It still dont look any better to me than before. I think it needed a butt-lift not a face lift! That saggy ass lookin rear also wobble like crazy over bump. definitely got little chassis rigid here. This Mitsu disappoint me from day one launch, compare with Storm big step backward in my opinion.

Hahaha Gunner!! smile_big.gif

The Triton F/L article, you highlighted each and every detail that changed and get clear shot on the 4D56 engine (w/o cover) and models. That model who posed for you is as powerful as the 3.2L Triton. Did you managed to take her out on a ride? Wonder the weight gets heavier with larger cargo bed? I've tried to chase up with Satria 1.3 with old Triton 2.5(A) but could just merely give chase both from 20km/h onwards to 80km/h.

Hi erzer!

Agree smile_thumbup.gif All they need is to get butt lift & enlargement. Should make it look even more StarWars style. The Storm is the 1st Auto pickup that impressed me.
