went up to genting on saturday night, seriously this car is very powerful, it's really a breeze going up hill, manage to overtake all the cars and catch up with a GTI all the way, din't realize that the gear dont change when going down hill tho, will observe that next trip.

however there's one minor problem when going thru the 2 very sharp corner slope near the top, when turning thru both sharp corners in slower speed, realize the engine is like "almost stall" and need a 1-2 s to rev up again.

anybody else experience this? thx

I experience the "almost stall" when i go thru a bend from fast to slow, and when the gear downshifts, that's when the stall comes in... characteristic of the car? just have to deal with it i guess. smile.gif

yeah bro, fast to slow due to the sharp corner+steep slope. btw bro, i've seen the NZ Galaxy tailpipe, not nice because it is too low, so decided not to install it.

jules, i'm using auto all the way, did not change to manual. wana test if the auto gear change can handle well

After finished current petrol, from next petrol pump, will try out 's' button.
Need to compare the fuel consumption & power with my current driving style (manage to get around 0.15~0.17/km)

Hopefully won't get PDRM ticket. Lately they quite 'rajin' open shop at night time especially after midnight.

I would suggest a Sunday morning day trip thing...
Few places would be fun...

1) Kuala Kelawang - don't go if you get car sick easily
2) Genting Highlands
3) Water Falls
4) Melaka - to visit Alex Wong and those from JB can come up to Melaka too....
5) what else????

very good idea alan. a TT + Gathering + Roadtrip sounds perfect.
i am ok with anywhere. but to really test power the car i would suggest Kuala Kelawang.
worried that the standard genting highlands road will have too much traffic unless we are talking bout the Ulu Yam - Batang Kali route which is also an amazing place to test the car.

almost 1.00 am at the museum highway there going towards the instana.
less than 1 week already $$$ flying away.

btw, been practicing my usual fill up which is RM40.00 of Shell Super at each fill.
been getting more n more mileage per fill up and i am at 2400++ km on the odo.
its averaging around 230-240 km before i go fill up with the remaining fuel distance at 50km

I think u all stall bcos in auto mode leh for sharp bends .. the gear change after bend when u step gas ... sure stall leh ...
Use tipt ... downshift b4 bend (rpm will be higher) than won't stall anymore ...

My route to work everyday will encounter the sharp 90deg bend, where i test the cornering. Auto mode will sure flunk since like u all encounter, no power after exit corner, sports mode button very hard to search when driving enthusiatically as u wun like to have it on all the time ... which is where i find sliding left to tip works the best.
