Oil Patch Pattern In The Rear Windscreen

it seems after washing the car i have oil patch pattern on the rear windscreen.

any input?

Care to share more info.
Whether it's leftover oils that your normal car wash couldn't remove or stains which has etch into the glass?

What type of shampoo you're using? I'm thinking it's a wash & wax type and the wax is causing those.

More info or pictures would be nice.

i think certain old cars has this wavvy oil look to their windscreen but mine is only 1 year plus old

ok will try take photo, only visible from certain angle

What car that u r driving? Some car which is not laminated have this oily patches..:)Normally, the patches will be in the center of the windscreen..

My 2 cents oniii

i think he is referring to like streaking mark on the windscreen..my old junk which is running on non-lamited glass have this...but it never bother me anything smile_tongue.gif

You park mostly in the open?
Wavy, then most probably water mark.
Use Tomcat, but make sure to remove it fast, don't let it dry on the glass...... smile_tongue.gif

i don't thnik he is referring to water mark....its some oil patch reflection when the windsheild under sunlight

since car is dirty canot see now so no photo yet
