hah, in my honest opinion, you don't need to change the oil. Its recommended to change at 10K, however, in certain countries, its recommended to change at 30K. But due to the weather here which is hot, 10K is better.
However, at 2.5K, you don't need to change the oil. But if you feel rich and kiasu (joking ar.. don't angry).... there is no harm by changing the oil & oil filter, although I wouldn't think its necessary as its stipulated in the service recommendation.

ye la alan, why need to waste money if the manufacturer guaranteed the oil is still gud, dun wanna be kiasu. so the SC will not change anything at 2.5K rite, just inspect? might as well i use the money to buy new wheel caps replacement hehe.
btw ur GT is shod with pirelli rite? hope the pirelli tyre shop wudn't mind coz mine is conti

If you check out oil, it's still golden color at 2.5K. So don't think need to change it. I did the inspection already.

I didn't know that... wow... that's good information...

Did you guys know that your radiator doesn't work in morning starts until your temperature hits 90 degrees? This allows the engine to heat up faster than normal cars!!

Bro Alan,

This is normal coz the circulation of water in radiator is control by thermostat.. It is just that the 308 water pump is " On Demand" which is diff so the water pump will not active. In other type of car, the water pump is active once the engine started...smile.gif

However, some newer bimmer also have on demand function....smile.gif

Cheers
