"S" or sports mode is just for u to hold the gear to higher rev so tat u can drag the car more b4 it changes gear tat results in rev dip and power loss. Of coz tis mode shall burn yr wallet.

happy driving.

Guys,

How frequently you all engaged for "sport" mode?

Have you all experienced hearing a sound from undercarriage while making a "Right" turn while decelerating from about 80km/h?

Sound "tok" from the undercarriage.

Also noticed the same while accelerating hard from "N" to 1st" gear.

Loose spring on your suspension? Mine no sound.

Lazy to open new topic.

Today just returned from Genting.
My experience on bringing the VTi to Top hill, really no power. Perhaps due to my skills. tongue.gif
Can see previous model of City or Proton drive more faster than me.

Either I use Auto or Manual (M2), still not giving much power to climb. If use M1, then the RPM will reach more than 4K.
Sound not that save to use M1.

Anyone would like to share his experience on VTi or THP reaching Genting top hill.

My experience going up Genting? No need to explain much laa.. GT is very powerful, overtaking all cars going up and reach up there much faster than usual. Normally between 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear up the hill. I went up Cameron Highlands last week with ease also...
Its not what you have...... its how you use it!!
