Has anyone noticed how bad the ride quality of the DUKE highway is? Especially the elevated parts...it's like a bloody roller coaster. Also, a lot of cars speeding on this road, as it is quite underused at the moment. I have seen a couple of really nasty incidents where some cars have taken off from the road!

Maybe the designers and contractors should go to to Dubai and see how to build a modern highway. They are all as smooth as billiard tables over there.

do you mean un-even tar and bumpy rides? - agree.

Besides, I think the exit point joining people back to other roads (Jln Jelatek in this case) with on-coming traffic is dangerous. They do NOT have the right of way but they just merge in so fast as if they do. (where is the 'beri laluan' sign?)

agreed too............ but we as road user have to adopt our driving style according to the design and the road condition...... we can blame the people involve in constructing/designing the road but if we also ikut nafsu then we are to be blame as well no matter how good our car is, it the road is noty up to the mark plus our nafsu then we actually inviting accident to happen.... better be safe than sorry.......... anyway there are part of the hway with good scenery

Pandu Selamat Jiwa selamat

asal lambat biar selamat.

I have been using everyday and it was a good stretch thou seen a fresh tire mark and green stain at the divider. I would say in any highways users should adhere to the speed limit. Not that the developer would like to build that way, have to take into consideration the gradient of the ground and the mother nature factor.

I use everyday also notice fresh skid marks appearing in several places, looks like results of a duel or two!
The speed demons seem to be using this stretch to test out their top speeds, I was moving at about 120 when a white Merc Coupe flashed past me like I was standing still yesterday. Maybe he left some tyre marks further up! Some motorcyclists died on this road within a few days of the official opening.

this is wrong attitude in my opinion, designers and the builders of roads must take extra care to make roads safe for the idiots out there who don't care for their life and for the lives of others.

yesterday, at approximately 5.45pm, some mentally challenged manager at the DUKE Highway's organisation, sent a maintenance crew to re-surface THREE LANES of the MRR2 bound carriageway!!

Need I say anymore?

This highway is a disaster waiting to happen, it's becoming a dangerous speedway now 24 hours a day....how about some speed monitoring cameras?
