previous model lo

The new one drives and handles differently. Went up to 170km/h still pretty good with 3.5 ppl om board. The new model's NVH is good.

Benson,
What are the problem faced with the Berlingo ? It is a manual tranny and work horse at the very first place.

I think is common habits for all conti car espeicially the frence, engine jerking and died off, the conti technology is indeed always infront of japanese, but just new technology but not proven reliablity yet and introduce to the market, you need a second car for spare if you want to own a french car, I just leave my car in the SC to check overall to rectify the problem, anyway, if let me compare my camry and my berlingo, the camry beside quiet, better ride and powerful, else my berlingo will feel more SOLID, better handling. yesterday night, I did tried the trunk road from SEDENAK TOLL to AYER BALOI, I think this road is one of the worst road condition in JOHOR, everytime I can see most saloon slowly crusing even my camry also BUT my berlingo can crusing at 110KM above while my camry I just maintain at 80KM since the faster I go the more like speed boat!!..but the berlingo I did always tried, is just like flying on the road... that I can go faster than 110KM. other saloon might think I'm crazy owner

True of what you said about French's suspension. It is still one of the best around. Berlingo has simple suspension set up but look how it handles in real situation. I am speaking from own experience too. Cheers.

Scenic,

A real workhorse is one the just goes & goes. No need to sleep in the car hospital for long periods of time. 600k km still operating without open heart (overhaul) surgery. smile_thumbup.gif
Carzy's camry IS a real workhorse + a battling ram to bang his game hunting like wild boar, cow, etc etc.

Joytoy,
I acknowledge Camry's engine durability. But, I beg to differ in that no offence to Carzy's Camry's 600k km without even having to top overhauling, it is an exceptional case to the norm.

my friend has the first generation camry (the round type) since 1995, still running without major work done it apart from normal maintenance and wear and tear parts. May be not 600 K Km but at least 450 - 500 K Km now. My cousin owns a Corona 2.0L (not sure of the year, may be 1992), still has its original engine and not major surgery had been done.

Think Toyota engine can last 600 K Km without any problem.

I am certainly looking forward to my long lasting Toyota enjoyment. Guess, what we want is as much less trouble out of the car at the end of the day. smile_tongue.gif
