Could you pls be more specific or illustrate on how it works?

I have tried but no red coloured shown on the MFD.

Apart from what Alan mentioned, just leave the rear boot open, start your engine then you will notice the warning at the centre MFD and the display turns RED.

It is verified. You must drive minimum 10km/h then only will come out with red indication.

Actually not necessary to be at 10km/h, as long its engaged the warning will appear. I accidentally discovered this too.

As much as if you don't wear your seatbelts, the indicator will blink and ring... but if you still don't wear your seat belts, after 1 min or so... the audible sound will stop....

that's by far the only annoying thing bout my car, apart from the noise from engine/compressor...

so i always quickly buckle up...though still wish i can turn this off from the control panel la

Yup..the sound are very very irritating..I like to play this game..to see who give up first..me or my white lion..most of the time..my lion win..ocasionally I win (just to prove a point who's the boss smile_tongue.gif )

yayaya, me too... hehe...
But seriously guys, buckle up! The safety belts are meant to save our lives! Its proven, and all the NCAP 5 star rating would be useless if we don't buckle up! For back seat passengers too!
Its not what you have...... its how you use it!!

I don't know about that... but.... I do know that the seat belt and airbag is connected to the same ECU. You might be right...

Something very interesting about the seatbelt warning system. If you fetch 3 person at the back and they don't put on the seatbelt, the warning will beep. Try fetching four people at the back. Last time I did that, these no warning. Wonder how the sensor works.

I thought the weight sensor for seatbelt only applicable to front seat while behind seat have no sensor.
It only beep when someone behind already put the beat on and they take off before car stopping.

Then why does it beep if someone seats behind that didn't buckle up? And also if I fetch more than 4 person, it won't sound?
