side track..did any of us is brave enough to do the ecu remap..I found this webpages..claim can increased our THP to 180HP and 285MN torque..

then can start cucuk Alan GT , (alan, jangan marah..ur GT is always a benckmark to beat btw..is THP brake system same as GT?? or did GT use some fancy brake like brembo or spoon?? If same, can do this ecu thingy without compromising the safety.

I am pretty sure the engine can take it (jcw cooper s is tuned to more Hp and torque)..just wonder if the gear box can take it.. for me this have to wait untill warantty period is finish

or is upsolute also have waiting list?? Huh, nowadays..everything got waiting list..yet they said economy is not soo good..malaysia is full of rich people..

btw..I check their webpage (faq section), upsolute claim their upgrade cannot be detected by manufacture..

The website says too many things... but they still cannot do it yet.... Already been to their workshop in Glenmarie to borak borak... They say that the Austrians talk alot... but they have not reached the level yet... everything say can but in actual fact.. cannot.. I am happy with my power... MORE power will not mean anything really, on Malaysian roads... Will keep mine stock standard for now...

Better not touch anything electrical even audio...better leave everything stock standard.

Not keen to fit the bodykit although I fitted the rear spoilers. I am really keen to change the front bumpers to the GT type, looks even more sleek....will check out if Auto France in SG can do it for the THP.

ANy difference between the GT and THP bumpers? I can only notice the grill only...

GT bumper is at sharper angle and sleeker compared to THP which is more rounded and has a bigger grille section. I personally prefer the GT over THP.
