Swift if CBU model I would go for.. Cos CKD model is cutting down alots of things.. drove both type before.. handling wise I would vote for CBU.. feel more compact especially when u drive at the connering.. smile_approve.gif

206? Hmmm.. high to maintain it and 2nd value scary... smile_tongue.gif

Aveo?? teribble outlook.. smile_big.gif no offence to Aveo owner..

ckd swift suspension is a little softer and hence provides comfortable ride, the rest of the parts and components are still made in Japan....my advice go for a new SS and you will get low interest rate and free comprehensive maintenance for 3 yrs or 60,000km... that means no hassle and worry...isn't that fabulous smile_thumbup.gif

The car I test drove was CBU, before booking the Swift. I got my car last Dec. which is a CKD. Frankly I can`t tell the difference in handling, felt it is the same! SA told me Malaysian CKD Swifts are sourced from India.

I can imagine there would be quite a bit of a difference in price between Japan and Indian CKDs .The Indian manufactured parts appear to be as good as the Japan ones. However I`m sure there`s difference in QC between CBU and CKD. There was slight difference in quality ( lower ) between the car I received and the CBU which I test drove. Seat belts being locally made were faulty from the 1st day of delivery. Everything else works well, no squeaks or rattles.

i had been a car salesman for these models.
my 1st vote go to suzuki swift in view of its latest model among these three ,& its design,techology,sound proof .f/c,easy maintain;
secondly is peugeot 206 for continental feel driving,but u need to join peugeot club to learn more about it.
lastly ,i would go for aveo due to "i m loving biggrin.gif "designed by Giorgio Armani& more spacious .
Best Regards

HAHAHAHAHA........Aveo design by Giorgio Armani..HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! you are truly the "car sale man"

Please read below.....dude ! ( aveo was name Kalos original in Daewoo)

Conception
Originally designed by Italdesign Pininfarina, the Kalos derives directly from the Kalos Dream concept vehicle first presented at the 2000 Paris Motor Show and subsequent developmental concepts at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show, 2002 Geneva Auto Show, and 2003 at the Geneva Show. (Kalos Dream photos) During this three-year development period Daewoo was struggling financially, with the ultimate fate of the company and the concept vehicle remaining uncertain.

Upon introduction the initial European models carried an emblem reading "Design Giugiaro." Referring to his firm's design of the Kalos, Giorgetto Giugiaro said:

“ When we designed it, we set out to produce an alternative to conventional lines and tread new paths in terms of design. [5]
