Dear All,
I was looking for a 7 seaters MPV/midi MPV.

Tot kangoo is the choice but from the forum here found that the Ulysee/Evasion/806 are receiving good comments.

i got no doubt on the handling, safety and comfort on this kangoo and U/E/806.

but need to know what is the maintenance cost of both. Seem like the U/E/806 spare parts cost are surprisingly low. Timing belt just less than RM150 (correct me if i'm wrong).

So, just which one is cheaper to maintain?

Thanks in advance.

mainly i'm affraid of the maintenance and availability of the parts especially used parts. If we have the options to chose used part this will reduce the maintenance cost.

This has been discussed many times before...you may want to search the board...you can also seek information on the Citreon Evasion and Peugeot 806 on their respective discussion boards.

Will attempt to give you a very quick comment. Both these cars serve a very different purpose. The Kangoo is basically a "work horse" while the Ulysse is a "people carrier".

CBT once did a review of the Kangoo last year - the Diesel Version. Their summary was a very good work horse but not not comfortable as a family car. Good for business who wants a cheap vehicle which can carry huge amounts of cargo, flexible to carry people and also FC (since diesel).

In fact many pest control companies use the Kangoo as their company car now.

Dear ahk,

Do you manage to get your dreamed 7 seaters MPV. If you are still looking for it, I got one Fiat Ulysee 2001 EL Auto for sale. Mine is in good running condition, serviced periodically. Just change all 4 absorbers, engine and gear box just serviced, replace 2 sensors etc. Reason for selling is to change to saloon cars since all my children has grown up and not riding together already. Asking for RM44K negotiable. Interested, you may call me thru h/p 019-9132129 or email to me at wanothman_wanlong@petronas.com.my.
