that's why i'm starting to look for independent workshop, will be visiting Wyn @ USJ7.
the battery side, mine also recently kaput, will be visiting PH Auto later (cuti CNY 1 week), which should be much cheaper. but DIY is okay for me
(as both items recommended by andrewlim8)

Hi Andrew,
can you double check you Delkor battery terminal layout?
the +ve should be on the left, so should read DIN72L
where the DIN72 would have +ve terminal on your right.
so far, PH Auto still close for CNY (as of today), i only manage to source out for Ac Delco @ RM440 for DIN72L

Guys
I thought i share this with you all . I just paid ~RM2K (after 10% discount and free labor charge)) to get my aircon hot air fixed at FA 2-days ago and it's doing fine now. It was blowing hot air lately. Before the repair and when it started to blow hot air, i had to turn-off the A/C for a while like 5 mins and then turned it on for cold air but it didnt last long before hot air came back again. The fact that the A/C worked but intermittently suggest the freon gas was there but something else was not working. I thought it needed software upgrade but further check with FA found the A/C magnetic clutch and solenoid caput. I placed an order for the parts and booked the next day for repair which took them like 3 hours. Now it's working like normal without sweating in my own car.
I guess those who opted for the extended warranty program should be in good shape.
Outside workshop should be cheaper but mine comes with 1-year warranty.
