BROTHERS/SIS,
just wanna share out what i found out just now when i went to paint shop to mix a tin of paint for my 2008Camry touchup...
mine is a Silver metallic with code 1D4.... to the paint seller, he was surprised cos after he mix this code, it turn out to be artic blue!
when he show me the base colour in the engine and internal door frame, it was light blue!
After that he has to use his expertise to mix the coloursimilar to my car exterior ie Silver...took him more than an hour to match it....he claimed the paint was mixup with the original 1D4!
how come this car imported from Thai become silver in Malaysia.?
`blue' activities allowed in Thailand. But in bolehland must cover up 'blue' activities to seem like silver lor. Afterall our useless old batch of politician all also cover up all their activities what.

Thanks...mine is only a 2.0G model.....2.4 was a bit way off for me eventhough it was very tempting.

Got 2 manual locks now ... steering & pedal locks ... thinking of putting another alarm system (cobra connect or some GSM-type alarm system) ... but that is another chapter.

dawshuenn, did u managed to install additional alarm system? Can you also share where and how much u gotten your pedal locks? I've only heard of Locktech, but it's abt RM400.

is anyone here using locktech?one of the accessories shop is selling it but it now comes with some wiring that connects to the car start switch....anyone knows what's that for? i worry if such wiring will void the car warranty...of course, the shop says it won't.
btw, i noticed their website is no longer in service....does this product still exist?

This is strange, you should talk to the SC about this. Btw what touch up were u doing? Scratches and stone chips?
