Hi VR2,
Got my ride check with UMWT, ABS no problem with it, lock b'cos no load and can't differentiate braking with ABS.
That's what I was told but they do test drive. Anyway got free aligment for it. smile_thumbup.gif

Here are my work result, not so good but satisfied with the effort at least.
Pic taken today, washing and wax cleaning + UQD done on Sunday.
It was drizzling today morning, just for a short while.

Here goes....(I'm not good in taking pic. or so to speak the proper methods)

Here is one shot of the roof of my wife's ride. Colour is actually champagne gold.
Car is 13 years old, but Paint should be about 6 years old, because car should have been resprayed when I bought it second hand at that time.

More photos later on............ smile_tongue.gif

This is my recent work out as a newbie on RB. Not really satisfied with the finish maybe due to my bad old paint which ptg reading only at avg 76-95 and those chips are unrecoverable. First 2 are using Osren Perfect Cut 2.0 (actually can stop here) with LC Polishing pad followed by Bosch 125 + #9 with Finishing pad. (did not clay)

3rd pic are M83+polishing pad, M80 Finishing pad ... some area touch up (esp curve line) with #9 since difficult to get a good finish. I noticed M83+polishing pad will create holo but shld be able to correct with M80. LSP with SmartSealant only without QD

Hope will get better results during my next try.

hehe thanks and ya, swirl , contamination edging are gone or almost gone.. hehe I wan better clarity and still working to improve it but I dun think my current paint can't offer much since it was badly maintained since day1 .. not much left to polish or cut hence hv to skip certain area (tks to the PTG). Tht's why when I first meet u at TT and approach you to take good care of your car since its still new and catchy. I kinda of regretted smile_sad.gif for my past mistake .. wht to do, too lazy.

You do a search and had lot's of discussion on it but basically if you are busy and dun intend to take this as hobby or exercise then u can either send to pps or let other to detail for u loh.

Have always tried to take good care of the precious from day 1, but whether i'm doing it right is totally a different story lor. After joining this forum, I realize that it's actually more damaging and/or waste of time/effort if one has been maintaining it wrongly! Sigh!

That's why you still see me sneaking in and out of this forum to seek some enlightenment occasionally from the sifu's here. smile_big.gif

It's good to learn from mistakes....only if we know that we've made a mistake though! haha!
