Lpt Damn Dangerous

Hi all,
For ppl who thinking of travelling to east coast using LPT, better be careful..a lot of road refurbish still on going especially from Lanchang towards Temerloh..

Last week 9/3, one innova ramped into back of tanker when the driver avoiding cones at straight lines 5km before R & R Temerloh...and the accident caught 2 lives...

Any other stretch that we should be careful of?

besides that, some roads are too bumpy and not suitable for high speed with lowered vehicles...area to watch, again from lanchang towards temerloh, just follow the road signs..

one more thing, dun stop at R & R near Maran at the middle of night, some ppl says its haunted...

KM 70 onward on the curvy area heading to kuantan, during raining the water ponding cause lot of accident,
the tow truck already know that hot spot area must be occur an accident a day at least.....cause of the road condition as well.

tis is n old story but i think its true...told to me by a fren of mine long time ago when lpt was just opened.
n if u remember correctly during the first mth there was no charge...it was during a school holiday and this teacher was travelling home frm balik kampung to his house.it was night time n being hungry the family stopped at an R n R..they makan , paid n then drove off. nxt monday when the school reopened this guy told his friends abt his trip along the newly opened lpt...lor....mana bukak lg tht R n R...only termeloh R n R served food n drinks at tht time...this guy dnt believe n drove off to tht r n r....was told tht the money he paid was still there

What a scary story... My father in law also told the same story,quite the same...but the difference that guy seen lot of ppl in that areas but when they left and looked back at the rear mirror, nobody was there..

Kilometer 116 heading to KL at night dont speeding.. sometimes speed trap there and tahan dekat lanchang exit.. Just beware.

Dont speeding during rain and windy.. I've seen a lot of accident when people speeding (normal speed 110) during raining.. sometimes because of angin lintang.

Heading to Kuantan..after gambang r&r just reduce your speed if that time windy and raining... A lot of angin lintang there. It after r&r gambang until gambang exit. Just beware driving during windy and rain (heavy rain where water a lot on the road)

LPT is super dangerous during heavy rain....a lot of water spot, especially at left lane.....you can see many new steel devider indicates a lot of car lost control and ram it...

Yeah, true...KM 183.1 heading kuantan, my niece in law accident when her BF ramped to the steel divider and the accident caught 2 lives including her...

I'm a frequent user of LPT. From my opinion, one can speed like hell during day time with fine whether provided one can tahan the saman to come BUT it is a BIG NO NO during raining time ... pleeseee dun speed laa... sayang ur ride laaa... and of course ur life and ur loved one... !

I dun know why they cant provide a good smooth hiway like in other maju countries, huh!.. be it Hiway Authority.. concessioneare etc etc..
