heh heh i have tried one of the workshops mentioned above. Not up to my expectation also, plus also got a lot of complaints. Anyway, nobody is perfect, but if workshops can do some improvement on my comments, it will be great.

Huh? Which workshop not up to expectation la? The super clean Sri Emas, the highly popular everybody recommend Harapan or fully equipped air con with ah moi Brooklands? What kind of problems, do share all the nitty gritty particulars. hehe!

Ooo, like that ah. Sure la, no 1 workshop is perfect, got aircon, fully equipped wif ahmoi also got problems. Yr car tip top already? Like that should be happy la. aiya why 'obviously not done by harapan and sri emas alone'? A lot of ppl swear by harapan leh. Must be a terrific workshop, surely u can have yr car done tip top there. Anyway, quite a few ppl also doing like u, hopping from one workshop to another. Some hop to Klinik Citroen in Segambut, have u tried that? Quite good too i hear. Obviously not good enough or 'got other problems', then hop to harapan. I guess each workshop got their speciality and we go to the ones we are comfortable with and can trust. I drive my Citroen with a smile but its an old car, sure got problems here n there. Paham2 la. So long as we enjoy our car, we do what it takes to make it tip top.

well after making my rounds to so many workshops, i found most workshops that do Citroen is not up to the standard. are we citroen drivers are so cheap skates that the workshop thinks that the amount to invest and to service cannot make a good return ?

found most workshop problems.

1. No proper place to sit not to mention air-con waiting room but if job good o.k. but worst also crappy work !
2. No ramp at all to do hydraulics adjustment...have to borrow neighbouring tyre shops ramp. Borrow few more
times since not perfect, tyre shop owner face also black than mechanic just say "ai-ya it's like that 1-lah, o.k.".
How to do citroen like that, the hydraulics suspension need this essential tool what !
3. Unjustify charges, willing to pay customer but still get lousy quality.
4. Ask for a few things to be checked sure got some how miss some items.
5. Never test the car properly and hand it back to the customer.
6. Boss only lepak around, let worker do, and hardly checks.

So far I have 0 satisfying Citroen workshop, but my other 2 other Conti makes which I have virtually 0 complaint for some workshops. The best thing the amount of workshops I round for my two other make is 1/3 lesser than Citroen.

Any comments from other Citroen drivers ?

wow. sorry to hear that.
just curious...which area are you from? those workshops you have been to are in which area?

Maybe you wanna try Mr Wong's workshop , in batu caves area.

Try brooklands, got plenty of waiting space, aircon, nice sofa, drinks n ah mois to gawk at. No need to try 'so many workshops' for the perfect one. Every workshop got its weaknesses, better don't drive Citlong.

but if we service our car at brookland....i think most of us will complain about our wallet instead smile_tongue.gif

the one with air cond + ah moi - recommended me to change my brake pads early last year. that i know lah, still makan or not. brought my baby to independent doctor who told me the pads still good, no need waste money. so i hold on to them and until today my baby's braking no problem at all. have to say air cond real cool, ah moi or no ah moi i dont bother lah. but asking me to change some parts which i do not really NEED to, that is TOOOO much lah. say not nice would be cheating! daylight robbery! samun!!!!! hey, like that how to go back there hoh?

yet another feedback from a cit xsara picasso owner who IM me just the other day. he was from JB, had so much prob with his NEW pic. car jerked violently like hell. sent to BROKE-Land in JB few times, said they cannot find anything wrong with the car. mind you, he paid heftily for other knick-knacks (guess they are all the same whether in chan sow lin or JB). finally he got reposting to KL. surprisingly he got the prob solved after visiting the sister SC in chan sow lin! well, good things also must mentioned lah. and this time the bill comes to RM2k+ oh! tell me now, how to make owning a cit here a fantastic experience? i am blessed, my pic's a good girl.

Why would you want to wait around?

Sure... brooklands has ramps..... nuff said!

3. Unjustify charges, willing to pay customer but still get lousy quality.

Theres a few gems out there, none of which are good at everything... a hydraulic specialist may not be an engine specialist... no issues there.

4. Ask for a few things to be checked sure got some how miss some items.
Use your computer and print a checklist for them... works for me!

5. Never test the car properly and hand it back to the customer.
Which is why you should test it after that.... some shops also overtest... terbalik masuk longkang total loss!

6. Boss only lepak around, let worker do, and hardly checks.
Thats the bosses job..... obviously you are not in management?
