Most of so call outside Volvo workshops now a day are willing to deal with customer's that bring their own parts...as their know that is the only way to keep their customer's otherwise there are many others Volvo WS are waiting for them..but of cause those normal wear and tear items like engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs will still supply by the WS as the price will not be different by much.

agree with u V406198
Have to give and take, so small stuff/minor parts I just let the mechanics use what available at the workshop.
Those who are familiar with Volvo, actually it's not difficult to maintain. Volvo been using 5 cylinder 20 valves engine since 1993 if not mistaken (started with 850) and it's being constantly update & revised...but foundation is still the same. 200 and 900 series are also identical

Anyone from Kuching knows where the heck is their showroom in Kuching? Saw a few Volvos with local plate number but not sure where they got the car from. Tried to enquire via e-mail but no reply, instead they sent me season greetings and a happy new year wish. The 'professionalism' that they are showing doesn't do justice to their product. I hope someone from Volvo read this.
No Volvo dealer at Kuching at this moment.
All cars are brought from KL and register over there.
If you interested to own a new Volvo please contact 03-22749300 ask for sale consultant.

I am not refering to entry models like S40, let's look at costs of driveshafts on an XC90.
Especially if the vehicle is still under warranty, you just can't get the spare part from any part shop as this will void the warranty.
You have no choice but to fix it in FA or SM. And I dare anyone here to tell me its cheap.......

Every single part you change from Volvo authorise dealer you can get one year warranty on that item and it genuine parts.
