story as Nissan,. I don't like honda cause of their boring design. I'm
more into the Ford Focus just because of the radical dash board design.

yah.... Focus RS (or even normal Zetec) is build for speed, and Speed always does not
come with Comfort!
The "loosing grip" is because of Traction Control. Whenever the tyre hit small stone etc
on the road, the Traction Control will adjust the tyre spinning & you can fell it on
the steering. This is to avoid unneccessary spin on that tyre. I got used to it now!
In UK, Focus is available in many class, like Lynx in M'sia. I really like the Focus ST170,
with smoked headlight, 173PS horsepower 2.0L Zetec, Wow!!... Focus RS is "too Rally"
set-up & more expensive! Unfortunately Ford only bring Focus Zetec to M'sia (what a
pitty).

Now is bad time to trade-in new car (< 2 years). Labuan is now not only saturated with
brand new cars, but also saturated with traded-in cars. Most of car dealers having
difficulty to clear the traded-in cars.
There are 2 new Altis 1.8 (< 2 years, under warranty, price dropped ~RM10K) at Ford
Labuan, have been sitting there for weeks........... Unless you are not only willing to
"burn" your downpayment, but you will also lost some money if really want to trade-in yr
new Lynx!!!!!. Waja are almost everywhere traded-in, did you notice the price? aiyo...
droped so much.......... new 2nd hand Sentra 4 sale also quite a lot........

went to Ford SC this morning, saw the two black Altis 1.8 for sale. The
cheaper one on the left looks like it had been in an accident where i can
see the drivers side door has a new coat of paint. However, both cars are
less than a year old and the rear seats still have the orinal plastic
covers. Wonder if i can trade my lynx for any of those cars..Will ask
tommorrow morning.
b.t.w. wanna sell of your focus anytime soon?

I was thinking of asking Ford Labuan to bring in Focus ST170 (2.0, smoked headlight!,
173hp!!!!) & than selling-off my current 1.8 Zetec. But, do not if it possible coz Ford
already stop importing Focus. So bad..............
BTW, perhaps we can meet someday? call me 019-8540955, or look for Black Focus
LB1915 (with Colin MacRae's Focus die-cast on my dashboard!). I may also driving Yellow
Escape LB5191.

i test drove a focus over the weekend. i noticed that the engine noise
intrusion into the cabin is more than desired. there's a loud vroom
during acceleration. is this normal? i asked the salesman and he told me
all ford cars are like that.

Hi! Yah that's me. My office is in ASB, you can see it from the main road.
Actually BMW 318 is my favorite car.... but at the moment, I have to own 2 cars (1 for
my wife) so can't afford 318 yet, settled for Focus. Escape for my long distance driving
back home to East Coast Sabah.
Where is yr office? Which co?
Mooncake2,
Engine noise intrusion at low RPM <3000RPM & low gear (1,2 & 3rd) a bit high, but it
acceptable to me. Once you shifted to 4th gear, it quite.........
To be frank, Ford is not so good in noise insulation from engine compartment. Same goes
to Escape. Need to install noise insulation at acc shop.

There are noise insulators for Focus? Have you installed them?
