Test drove Polo GTI n these are my comment on outstanding item.

Probably fastest in its class n cheapest in tis performance compact car that offer sunroof tilt n slide, 0-100 kmh in 6.9 second, 7 speed dsg, 17 inch rim , GTI version, superb handling with XDS, bi xenon, paddle shift , red sporty caliper, and sport seat n flat bottom steering and many many more....

Whats d price for alfa mito, renault clio or mini cooper vti ?
These car can come closer in term of price, spec ,perfomance and 5 yrs warranty?

Decision is yours....Cheers

I'm rather skeptical about its published FC, as my current golf averages 10km/l, much lesser than what has been published, noting I have been rather light-footed all these while. However, one can cast no doubts on its performance and quality.

I second that.

Averaged from my past 9 fuelings on 100% city drive : 10.2 km/l.

It is just as much as my ex-2.0 litre car. Tsi high consumption stem from the rest-go, it needs higher rev to push it along, recording a consistent 49.9 km/l on my MFD. It shoud shine comparitively much better on highway though.

So it is NOT frugal, make no mistake about that! Weight may not make much diff.

But with that kinda consumption, I would rather have the Tsi DSG in my bonnet than any other thing, make no mistake about that!

Polo GTi, I think the pricing hit the sweet spot. None on the road can sprint as fast at the price band.

does this have LSD?

heard the ride is nervous, twitchy at speed. is that true?

if on the highway, the steering wanders a bit. have to continuously check the steering to keep the car straight. is that true?

Go test drive it yourself.....Why rely on what others have to say.

But this is equally true in Msia- if lucky, Feb 2012, else Aug 2012?

Wow! That's a long wait for a car, for any car. smile.gif
