i just bought a Vios and now still shopping around to look for the best tint within my price range. Really need your help.
My budget is about RM500.00 (all for 4 windows, front n rear windows).
Could you suggest what is the best deal that i can get and the location of the shop.
And if possible, with warranty and JPJ cert...
Thanks

there is no such thing as JPJ cert. so long as the VLT meets JPJ requirement, you are ok.

Most will issue to you a warranty card, but not JPJ approval as they don't do that.
RM500 for good tint? Maybe RM600 plus for some solar guard....Good tint will be in RM1k plus....

warranty card is for defects and possibly re-tint if kena kopek due to summons/road blocks/puspakom inspection. but if change of ownership, tak boleh re-tint!
there is no such thing as JPJ approved tint. so long as the VLT meets the JPJ requirements, that is the so- called "JPJ approved" tint , but dont forget that the glass in itself comes with some form of heat rejection , so, even if the tint says VLT is 73%, once applied to the glass, don't be surprised it still fail the 70% requirement (for front screen). One of my rides using Vkool elite which says > 70% VLt but once applied to the front screen, actual reading is only 55%

If you don't need to be checked by Puspakom, probably you will not have any problem, as road block will block you if the tint is too dark visibly......

because 30% front+back windscreen and 50% for side window..still within tolerance...
but mine just cheap tint rm250 at brothers....wakakakakakak....
better to get good quality tint...u'll notice the diff during burning hot sun in broad daylight....
cooler ambient temp. without being too dark...
