Did some web searching for Escape accessories.

There are plenty of good Escape xsories. Really hope that Ford Malaysia can bring it to
M'sia. Really eager to buy them, but seeing the real stuff will be great rather than view it
thru internet.

Ford..... could you please get them to our local market. I am sure Escape owners are
really interested!!

check following website.

If you go to Thailand, you can get some very nice ones. I was quite
amazed when I was there at the motorshow last month... great stuff!

I guess you have to go to a Ford dealer to check them out. Maybe check
the Thai website to see what's available and if you are really keen to
buy, perhaps I can ask Ford Malaysia people to help get them in for you.

Many thanks Chips!

I checked Ford Thai website, but can't find x'sories segment.

It will be great if Ford can produce brochure & price list. Or, to make it more exciting, get
sample of each x'sory, so we can see the real stuff b4 decide to buy it.

Getting aftermarket Ford x'sories is quite difficult locally. So, really appreciate if Chips can
forward this message to management of Ford M'sia.

Would you really pay for original accessories? Usually they do cost a
fair amount due to their higher quality and sometimes exclusivity. I know
Ford Malaysia is looking at the idea but still undecided whether there
will be sufficient demand. One problem is our plastics duties are high so
they make the products very expensive and many items are plastic or
equivalent.

Many years ago, I ordered a cargo mat for my RAV4 from Canada. It was a
custom fit one and I think it cost only US$40. The company sent it by air
and if that was not bad enough, it was taxed as a plastic item and by the
time I paid for it... don't even dare tell anyone how much!! That is why
I have carried it over to my Escape although it is not a 100% fit.

I brought back the brochure from Thailand but forgot where I put it.
Maybe I will try to look and scan for you to see.

Fordies,

anyone have make-up yr Escape with aftermarket x'sorries? where to get? how
much?

I like that bumper protecter (the one shows in Escape playing football TV
ad). I think it's made of harden plastic, and not real bumper protecter?
well, it's more to decoration, anyway! I really like it. Anyone know where
to get it?
