In Autoworld, our primary focus is our online existence, where we maintain our News & Blogs section, New Car database, Used Car database, Parts & Accessories, Forum, and our various online tools for the benefit of you, the users.

Every once in a while, we see the need to come out to reality and 'smell the roses' if you'd like, with some ground activities that interact directly with the public.

We tried it last year with the CIMB Autoworld Car of the Year Awards 2010, and in 2009 we organized our 10th Anniversary Go-Kart challenge. In between, we also hit the ground with a used car fair at Selayang Auto City, and also made appearances at exhibitions such as Jobstreet's MCTF, and the Malaysia Auto-Care Branding exhibition.

For 2011 and the years to come, we are looking to increase our exposure and interaction with you, our members, and also the public. We have thought of a number of activities, some of them being things we tried before.

We are curious to see which of the above activities suit you guys, or if you have other suggestions. Do help us out on this. Thanks. smile.gif

I believe it very much dependent on your target and objective. It is not always that you can hit 2 birds with one stone.

If the event is targeting public exposure, it should be focusing in attracting media attention and tailored to public interest. But if the event is targeting forummer, it should be tailored base on the popularity of threads here or even just a simple get together interactive session. A public event could be costing a lot more but a forummer event could be arranged at much lower budget and more frequent.

I think many of the forummers here are more concern about the forum going down almost nightly recently and the response rate of the Staff.
