Hi, I like to use the "Download this topic" function of the forum to download long topics so that I can browse/search through posts easily. However, I discovered that the downloaded file gets truncated at 414kb for both the HTML or Word files.

Is this a forum restriction? Is it possible to increase the size a bit bigger or allow option of choosing how many pages to download (so that can download multiple times without going over the file size)?

Thanks.

You can try third party software which can download/save websites to your computer. There are several out there, some freeware such as HTTrack.

The same reason we might want to print out the topics. Sometimes we come across an interesting topic that has some good answers, so we might to save it for reference. We can print out the topic or we can save the whole topic into our computer. I once did this for another forum (non-car related) because there were so many good topics that interest me and I wanted a keep a copy of them. I didn't print them but used a software to "mirror" the topics and all their sublevels into my computer.
