Hi Guy, I went for wheel balancing and alignment last week. Discover my back absorber cover with oil. The shop alignment guy said my absorber is leaking oil and need to change as I'm not too sure cause when I done my service SC didn't inform me and I didn't felt much wobble at the back. However the guy in the shop said conti car sometime hard to fell absorber leaking compare with Japanese car, not sure true or not?

Anyway should I go back to SC for absorber change? or can I do it outside?

2nd thing one of my front fog light buy off, is it easy to change if I DIY?

Any advice or known mechanic near PJ area?

If your car is no longer under warranty, then i'd suggest that you d it outside, since sc are cut-throats. You can get the absorbers from asli auto and then bring it to ur mechanic for repair. The reason its hard to feel that the rear absorbers are kaput is because of the torsion bar suspension that this car has.

To change the fog lamp is a bit tricky, cause its a bit hard to see the bulb, I won't recommend diy unless u're a diy kaki...

Ya, I have check with Geo Auto, 1 pcs of back absorber cost RM230 dam expensive. However my car still under warranty so I guess I have no choice. I'm thinking will changing absorber outside affect warranty? cause I never touch any wiring...... I think for mechanical part most mechanic should able to fix just the electronic thingy have to be very carefull

I think mechanical parts can fix outside...like mine, my brake pads, timing belt, plugs, air filter, engine mounting, all I change outside. only oil changes i do it at sc.
