oz now restrict P plater kenot drive high power car like V8/supercharged/tubo charged even golf/polo GTI out of story... good oso such practice..

Oz driver is far more different from our driver here. Those restriction is due to high tendency of speeding behaviour among probationary drivers (presumably most young drivers) if they were handling those high powered car. Here, even a 'P' plate holders driving 1.3L cars (iswara, BLM, myvi) also speed like madcow. Perhaps, i think BLM/Myvi with 660cc NA engine are more suitable for them (if not restricted) so that they can't speed and drive as they like
