9 blades vs. 6 blades fr merces, sure will b difference in velocity n roar, how abt the water temp.after a full boost of rev?by the way can I use the ori 9 blades ssangyong fan with the merc Coupling Fan Clutch?

bro I first only change coupling but use original fan. Much better than ori coupling. After changing fan even better. If you worry can always change coupling to Merc but keep ori fan. So far no problem with water temp after 5000 plus km and a few speeding tickets

The roar and more peaceful drive is expected but it also improved the acceleration at the same time. It make the drive so much more lighter and enjoying.

Water temp did not change but this is only test from normal city drive, not traffic jam condition or hill climbing condition. I think it should work with the Ori 9 blades Ssangyong Fan blade. Better let Bro Rex4585 confirm on this, I think he tested.

Bro r3xt0n thank you for being the first bro to change the coupling and fan after my repeated recommendations. Happy to hear that you share my views re quieter ride better acceleration etc. Keep us posted about how it behave in traffic jam. Mine so far so good. Temp gauge steady in all conditions.
BTW I don't have any share in the workshop hehehe

I think hill climbing with full thottle is the best way 2 test the fan blade either ori ssangyong or the merc,so do it n keep us ifm, really tempted.

Will soon get to test it on off road, highway drive and trunk road drive. City traffic jam will get to test in KL only, so I guess you can test it easier. Try to get your Rex into a heavy jam when you are in KL.. hahahha

No worry Bro, we are all here on the spirit of sharing and brotherhood. I should be more worried than you when I refer so many bros to the Hill City Workshop for minor servicing as if I own the workshop... hahahaha

Don't think any of the road really that tough. Even Cameron Highland route is not that tough. Will report back when I get to test it to Cameron Highland.

bro the test of the pudding is in the eating. So why don't you test it yourself. Can always put back ori if any problem. Also not an expensive exercise.

You can join Bro RX270XDI to order together. Brand new should provide even better result than our Recond one.

Bro happy to hear you are giving this tip a try. If you as sifu is convinced then more bros will enjoy their Rexys even more.
Am aware of the price of a new one but my RM150 is inclusive of labour. BTW the fan blade don't come with the RM 3xx price. Right?
