Hi Bro,
the bearings should not be a problem, 2molo when i open mine then I let you know the bearing size

The ultimate measure of man is not what he stands for in moments of comfort or convenience, but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy.

Tested my Fan is a bit tight, not sure if the oil needed to change or not. So, better stand by the oil to change if necessary.

I'm having the same tight fan 2 when cool, not as mention by bro rex4585 spin freely,so hv U found the HOLE?

If the fan is too light and fan lazy then can add oil. But normally Rexy's too tight. I think it's make. It is by Sachs who is good in shock absorbers but fan viscous coupling??? Every Rexy's seems to be tight. Only a matter of how tight. You can test mine at the coming TT. Suggest you go for a new Mercedes unit. Then you will enjoy a much quieter ride and better fuel economy.
Cost should be less than RM400.

Have not get my workshop to check on that. The last few trips to the workshop is mainly to attend to Bro's Rexton.

Bro, what is the price for the viscous coupling. My ride now having same symptoms...

Bro new one less than RM400. Mine 2nd hand from a Merc made by Behr the radiator and cooling system specialist from Germany. Many 2nd hand available from Merc. I paid 150 inclusive of fixing. If you need my help to get a 2nd hand unit let me know.

Bro my chap who is a Merc specialist says it is very difficult to add the right amount of oil and also need to set the bimetallic strip correctly. He prefers to fit a 2nd hand unit from a Merc. He has plenty of them anyway and better money for him. Haha. The ones on the Merc are normally made by Behr the engine cooling system experts. They seldom fail. Not like the ones on Rexy.
