Happy CNY 2011 and happy holidays everyone!

Ok, for those driving home for CNY, when is the best and most convenient time to leave to avoid traffic jams on the highways?

no wonder jam la.... ppl dont want to get 'a room'

Lovers turn emergency lane into smooching point

SEVERAL couples have been spotted using the emergency lane of the Kajang-Seremban Highway (Lekas) to smooch.

The lonely stretch is being used as a lovemaking point from midnight to 3am, reported Berita Harian.

Taman Bukit Margosa volunteer squad (SRS) deputy chairman Azizul Rahman Mohd Yusof said some of them even drove their vehicles while pleasuring their partners, causing their cars to swerve left and right along the emergency lane.

Although such acts were hazardous to other roadusers, the SRS has no authority to stop them, he said.

There is a volunteer squad? What do they do? Drive on the highway and do what exactly? KPC?

Mechanic killed in crash at toll plaza

A 38-year-old mechanic died instantly after his car rammed into the concrete safety wall at the Sungai Dua toll plaza near here.

Ong Thin Sam, 38, was believed to be returning home after having dinner at a seafood restaurant in Bertam, Kepala Batas.

Ong, from Bandar Perai Jaya, sustained serious injuries in the incident which occurred at 11.50pm on Tuesday.

Taking its toll: The wrecked Honda car, which was driven by Ong, after it rammed into the Smart Tag toll booth at the Sungai Dua toll plaza in Butterworth, Penang late Tuesday night.

Penang traffic operations chief Deputy Supt Abdul Rahim Mohd Din said Ong was believed to have lost control of his car which rammed into the wall of the Smart Tag booth.

He was pinned to his seat and Fire and Res-cue Department personnel took about 30 minutes to extricate his body, which was sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital for a post-mortem.

A family member, who declined to be named, said Ong was a seafood lover who patronised seafood outlets recommended by friends.

“On Tuesday night, he invited a group of friends including me to follow him to the seafood restaurant in Bertam to eat crabs and prawns.

“But we could not make it due to work commitments,” he said.

The family member said Ong would normally telephone home to comment on the food.
