Or in real world typical Malaysian driving, that means about 1200km from a full tank before the low fuel warning comes on. Even after the low fuel warning comes on, it can still go another 150km before it runs out of its 70 litros of diesel.
Amazing...almost 1400km per full tank...at current diesel price that comes to about RM133 for almost 1400km (KL-JB-KL-JB-KL-MELAKA or Alor Setar - KL - Kuala Trengganu - Genting R&R on just 1 full tank)
This is the reason why diesels are the bestsellers in EU

520d in malaysia asking price RM388K , in UK GBP29400 or RM144K. to those in malaysia earning 7k monthly no problem if the price rm144K. but at rm388k , majority cannot la.
"those in malaysia earning 7k monthly no problem if the price rm144K."...what?...i'm earning 10k but i can only afford a 90k car..i'm paying rm700 per month already, which is 7% of my salary...if rm144k will be double my monthly installment & more than 10% of my salary!..that be too much to spend for a car!...cannot afford ler fren unless u earn more than 15k per month

Bro, your earning 10k but only afford to pay 700 for a car is just your way of spending to suit your status. I know someone who is spending like you. But he got 3 kids and wife is not working.
You can't simply justify people money and the way they spend. Difference people status and got difference way of spending. If i am bachelor with 7k salary, i may get myself a VW Golf tsi.

Agreed, if i'm single maybe can afford .....but wt only 10k and having to raise 2 kids, cost of living is a bomb nowadays... eventhough wife earning 5k, she got own expenses & car to pay too. My opinion, it not wise to spend a lot on car installment, u'll need to include maintenance cost...etc..etc...guess, rule of thumb shud be 10% of salary for car (installment/maintenance)...kids education...etc..etc..need priority...hahahaha, i sure sound like nagging ppl here
Just an opinion...yeap agreed, maybe other ppl put priority on having a flashy vehicles instead
