I think less than 150K, since volvo S40 with the same engine is selling for 170K and volvo is a more premium brand than ford.

the new mondeo have hid lamp, ford hmi, titanium spec with rear aircond vents, led running light, start/stop button, led tail lights, led cabin lights and chrome front grill. underneath it comes the awesome ecoboost engine with 200bhp, powershift gearbox and traction control. i pretty sure it's in between the current mondeo price and the VW passat CC comfortline.

That's not quite true. The engine used by the S40 2.0, if I'm not mistaken, is actually shared with the petrol-powered Focus. I wouldn't be bothered with the Mondeo if it uses this engine, because as it is, the more powerful 2.3-litre engine is just barely up to the mark in powering this car.
The Mondeo 2.0 Ecoboost engine is a different unit altogether, featuring turbocharging and direct injection. Currently, we have seen this engine in the Volvo XC60 2.0 Turbo and we will soon see it in the Volvo S60 as well, but I was told in a 240hp state of tune.

hopefully, they will bring in the lower spec mondeo 1.6 ecoboost version as well. hence lower price for long suffering malaysian. my dad honda accord cost RM30K++ brand new. thats 1985, just before Dr M came out with his brilliant plan called PROTON.
