11th December 2010, 0900 hrs, Genting Highlands.

Looks like a supercar. Looks like it HAD super brakes, super engine, super traction control, super handling, super sticky tyres, etc....but unfortunately a not-so-super-driver.
Doesnt this exotic brand hold advanced driving courses for their customers/drivers to prevent embarrassing scenes like this from happening?

As a weekend commuter up and down Genting on weekends, I now fear for the lives of other innocent road users knowing that there are actually driver who are actually 'skillful' enough to flip their cars onto the opposite side of the road over a concrete barricade that is the SAME height as their cars.
Good thing no one lost their lives.

Just looking at the photos, we should not be too quick to judge the driver as incompetent as there could be other reasons for the incident.

That said, however, a sports car, at the same speed, should do corners easier than a normal car. Perhaps the driver was indeed incompetent, and wanting to showboat, drove too fast.

1) well...normally hit straight at frontal-side area indicate that the car not turning according to the curve bending...(understeer)..if oversteer this car shud be spinning and most likely with genting like road spaces would hit rear part first...

2) i've read from some comment saying they saw the crashed car during going uphill..(posted where i forgot)

*well...i didn't say that i was 100% correct coz a picture telling thousands of words.. smile_shy.gif

This guy might have over-estimated the ability of this Ferrari. Couldn't blame him though. After spending a million on a car, he must have high expectations on the car and he exceeded the limit without realizing it.

Then again, many things could have caused this accident:

1) a cat/dog crossing the road
2) driver depressed coz he had lost a lot of money in Genting
3) driver drunk
4) driver unfamiliar with the road and thought that it was just a swooping bend instead of a sharp turn
5) driver sleepy
6) driver was going sideways (drifting) and loss control
7) driver was kissing his girlfriend
8) etc
