My Ulysse power window (driver side) failed yesterday. Open up the panel
and found all the cables in a mess. The motor is still ok. Called up
spare part shop and was quoted RM750 for the set. Does anyone knows or
have a 'potong' set? If not, where will be the best workshop to go and
solve this with a new unit? Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Call Surjit in Bt. Caves, he's got 4 Ulysses stripped down for parts.
016-2216644. His workshop Elite, is right behind Tmn. Industri Bolton, turn
left just after BHP and drive straight to the last row of factory lots.

i'm very interested in this ulysse. Which one is better, the 97/98 or the
01/02 model, and manual or auto is better. TQ for any info.

kla,
I've being using the 97 ulysse since 2000. The manual is less problematic
except the clutch is a bit heavy ( maybe because mine is the diesel
model, probably the petrol model may be less heavy ) Some considerations:
97/98 model - cheaper ~RM20,000 but you may need to do some repair such
as engine, p.window?, sliding door, brakes etc. Get along a good mechanic
when doing the shopping. Don't get influence by the shining new paint of
the car.
01/02 model - more ~RM45k I think, its auto gearbox, again ask your
mechanic's opinion, cost of replacement etc.
Hope u can get a good 2ndhand ulysse or evasion.
