Hi all Ulysse owners
I am new here and I am seeking for some help.
My power steering pump is leaking and there is no repair kit for it. A
new one cost about RM 1350 and there I cannot get a second hand unit at
all. potong kereta says it is identical to a Peugoet 406 and I am
doubtful as they are asking for RM 650.When I check with a mechanic they
say 406 pump cannot be use. I am confuse.
Pls I know in KL and Klang there are many Fiat Ulysse 2.0 EL Petrol 8V
and if anyone can help me with the power steering pump I amvery
appreciative. Pls help

Yeah pretty sure it is the Power steering pump leak and not the hose.
Found out that Peugoet 406 use the same pump but the pulley is smaller
130mm original pulley is 180 mm. Fan belt have change to 1580mm from
original 1660mm. Cost me RM 450 for the potong kereta pump and RM50 for
the changeover. So far OK now. I am seeing if it stays OK.
