Yesterday night on my way home, I saw, on the opposite side of the road, a tow truck towing away a very fancy sports car. The car appears in good condition (no accidents or damage to wheel). Sometimes when I see such scenes, I wonder if I am actually witnessing a car theft in progress. I am tempted, in one of these days, to be KPC and follow the tow truck for any suspicious activity.

Have you guys ever done this?

As a additional topic: Earlier this year, there was a car with a punctured tyre in front of my house. I found it one morning. I thought the driver must have left it there for the car tyre shop (only a 300 metres away) to open (it was < 9 am then). But when I came back from work, the car was still there -- and it remained there for 2 weeks. My immediate neighbours, as usual, all have tidak apa attitude, and couldn't be bothered with the car -- as long as it is not blocking their driveway.

So, I went to police station and wanted to report the car -- maybe abandoned, maybe stolen. But the police officers initially looked at me as if I am KPC. One even asked me why I want to get involved because "have to appear in court -- very troublesome." Anyway, after they called HQ, they confirmed that the car was indeed stolen. I didn't do a police report -- just left my number and location of car to them. Two days later, I managed to see the owner (one botak guy), some detectives, and one car workshop man came and recovered the car (have to fix punctured tyre first).
