My wife wants to replace her 2001 1.6 Waja. Its served us well for the past 9 years plus and has done 160k+ km.

Initially she was thinking of the 1.8 Civic which is selling for RM115k. It sells in Langkawi for RM75k. That's RM40k on tax!

Now comes the Inspira at RM87k for 1.8 A. Whilst I agree its expensive for a Proton, its almost RM30k savings from the Civic. Having seen the 2.0 Lancer, it doesnt look too bad and the interior is quite spacious.

What do you guys think?

Bro Gunnerzz,

Last time i try cucuk one civic (current model),forgot if its 1.8 or 2.0.
I was driving the Waja 1.8.
I admit i cannot keep up on straight but at corner i am right at his tail.
Dunno if its down to the driver.

Give credit where it is due. I am impressed with the ride quality of the Proton cars today. Try other MPVs and then come and try Exora and you will know what I mean. Cheers to proton's engineers.

+1 smile_thumbup.gif

compare an old satria 1.6 and current satria neo 1.6 handling ....definately u'll know straight away which was better....

and i would say...
this inspira would have a better ride n handling quality when compared to lancer gt brother....lotus engineer at proton really know their jobs well...
