Which route do you think is better and nearer? If going thru Baling route, can stop by Bkt Tambun for seaside seafood lunch or if going thru Kuala Kangsar, can stop at Lenggong for river seafood lunch.
Are you familiar with the route to Tasek Banding and Tasek Temenggong? I found these on map near Gerik too, it will be interesting to include these places as well.

Hi Bro,
If you ask me of cause kulim - grik , tru padang meha is the fastest , at 80 to 90km/h about 1 hour 20 minute from kulim to reach grik, and another 25 to 35 minute later to banding ( depend on driving style ).
if from KL then kuala kangsar tru lenggong is the fastest, previously the road is so good that you can maintain 140 - 160km/h easy!!!( not sure how is the condition now)..
But if you guys are very fit, then we can go tru kulim - baling - pengkalan hulu - BETONG - pengkalan hulu - grik then at last banding..hihihii
Cheers

The last time I travelled KK > Lenggong > Grik was about a year ago.. quite good, 2 lane straight road but not expressway la, I maintain only 100~120kmh.. the stretch nearing Pengkalan Hulu is a bit curvy.
I was thinking to add Betong in but bro teerex suggested to get reporters to tag along, so not nice right? hehehehe Maybe another trip.. Hatyai is better, got much more good food.
