They seems to get not so good reviews in local forums, but in european tests they always won first place. biased or what?

Hi phas3r,

I think I can answer your question.
If you read those magazine report done in US and Europe, you will see that the tires were tested under various criteria, like dry braking, dry handling, wet braking, wet handling, noise, comfort, rolling resistance and so on and so forth...
We as normal normal user for sure will not evaluate them and could not evaluate them even if we want to.
In many press test, CSC3 won the first place because it is being judged as the best in overall performance criterias.

Every brand have their good and not so good tyres, and these are actually in layman terms, performance tyres with good grip and entry level tyres. CSC3 are Conti top tyres, like GY F1 Asy or Michelin PS3.
We don't doubt them being good tyres, but in Malaysia Contis cost an arm and leg (expensive), therefore less users for them here, making them not popular, like Pirelli tyres. Conti low end CC1 have not gain any reputation here, whereas Michelin however have the Certis, XM1 and MXV8 for low to mid market.
Moreover, local industry have GY and Dunlop and even Silverstone to command in low end market.
So when coming to high end top range there are so many to choose from.
Other the being expensive, the CSC3 seems to be very bumpy also, so no comfort...... smile_blackeye.gif

CSC3 should not be bad in terms of performance as they are Conti's top tyres.
Of course, they have CSC5P now and Conti Extreme also....
Local complaints are bumpy and expensive..... smile_blackeye.gif

Runflat no need sealing one. Without air, can stand alone.......That is why they are very bumpy tyres...... smile_blackeye.gif

Could it be that the local complaints on bumpy and expensive are actually refering to the CSC3 runflat but not the normal tires?
