RF overprised, soundstream also the same, overprised. Their human reign expensive nia, their old school reference series much more worth while. Most stuff sells in msia r overpriced.
After looking around really don't know what to buy. The component set for the local brand are vary from RM 100+ up to a RM 1000 !! don't know what are the different???
Look around in the net for branded component set, lagi sakit hati !! Infinity kappa series coming to RM 1800 !!!
So, it is really a big different between those so called branded products and local products?

whats your budget for the components?
Hi Bro,
i was wondering it is good to have a step by step upgrade or just a lump sum investment. My current budget is about 3K and it should be well fit into a complete upgrade to the those so call cap ayam brand that include 2 sets component + 4CH amp +wiring .But if i go for Focal, infinity, then surely only partial upgrade..
what's your opinion?

Hi Bro, i have upgrade my swift stock speakers recently. Using a Thailand made cap ayam= Black General, 6.5" two way component front and 6" coaxial rear and keep stock hu, all for RM 600 including cut and mount on door panels, move tweeters to A-pillar and installations. I can comfortly hear the songs at 2/3 volume. Much much better thank stock speakers. Initially my budget also 2-3k but i am satisfied.
They also offer me to install a cap ayam 4 channel amp + installations @ RM420 or RM 450 with thick cable.

Before that my car has done almost 3k insulation and 3k NA tuning.
I think as long as you don't get fake, low quality or poor design component set, you can get a decent sound quality within 1k.

yes do step by step if u are serious about sound. for 3k can get a decent 2ch amp and a front component set.
after that start saving up for a sub and sub amp.
