U think i can tapau the blm 1.6 ar?
My mod:
open pod(+10hp) + NGK Iridium(+15hp) + water injection(+20hp) + lost of guts at bend(+50hp) + engine(98hp)=
Thats close to 200hp....can even tapau a CPS.....hahahahaha.
Great strategy though with the 1.6 BLM but too late i guess.

i have a gen2 cps manual. the situation is like this. sometimes, i can feel the car pull strongly after a certain rpm. this is true for all gears. but sometimes the car just pulls linearly meaning there is no sudden push.
i had this in my 5 month car before but after i sent to a service centre complaining about the symptom, it was returned to me fixed. what the service guy said to me was he reset the ecu. but after driving for a few hundred kilometers, it has returned to its sluggish state. i am wondering now whether i should just ask for a new ecu or is there anything else i can do. this on off character of the engine is pretty weird and makes driving a guessing game; whether i will have the push when i need to overtake or i need to accelerate earlier. any advice is appreciated. thanks.

i am back to report on my daughter's FL.
Car has reach 10K and was send for service a week ago. Rotate the wheels and did an alignment.
Notice that Proton Glenmarie is now using Syntium 800 10w/40 instead of 1000 15w/30. wonder why as both are semi syn ... engine feel lighter but sound a bit coarse...
Have got the luxury of using as daughter been busy and comes back not that often. manage to drive around 200km during the weekend.
Use the LATAR hway but feel struggle to get past 150km/h or it could be the coarse engine sound compare to my other ride make me hesitate to step more on the pedal.
Havent got the time to gauge the consumption but my daughter said she would pump in rm50. indicator showed full tank after fueling and travel for abt 320km with another bar left and she will top up rm50 again. Well i cant really comment on this figure as i am not the one driving/testing.
Frankly i like cruising either at 90 or 120km/h for good NVH in the cabin with tyre pressure 10kpa above the recommended figure. Petrol use have been 95% primax 95. Except on the 1st oil change which is Helix done at a autoricse SC , it is now on Syntium done at Franchise SC.
next project is to test drive the CVT model.... anyone have tested/own both FL and FLx.... care to share experience...

problem above fixed. changed petrol brand from petronas to shell. both ron95.
did an economy run of keeping rpm below 3,000 when changing gears and driving on the highway at about 90kph. managed to get 7.5l/100km.
